Muhammad Joined RPA in May 2015 as a Graduate Engineer after completing a Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at De Montfort University, Leicester. He began his career at RPA within a graduate role at the company, getting up to speed with the industry, assisting other engineers with their projects and also taking on good sized projects to further improve personal experience. Now, Muhammad has undertaken a specialist role at RPA within Sustainable Design. He is now in control of looking into the thermal analysis of projects.
Rustat House, Cambridge
This project saw the design and installation of a modern heating and cooling system for a newly refurbished temporary office floor in the heart of Cambridge.
Millington Road, Cambridge
An overheating report using a dynamic thermal analysis simulator was created for this intended refurbishment of a bicycle business office. This report provided different ventilation strategies for the client in order to help use a natural cooling method for the building and improve comfort conditions.
Bottisham Village College, Cambridge
A large extension of the college including a dining hall, drama studios and teaching blocks. This project required an early BB101 thermal analysis report into the overheating of the new build.
New Hall School, Chelmsford
A Design and Build project of a new rugby pavilion for a secondary school in Chelmsford. This job saw a complete fit out of building services, creating a comfortable environment for the young users to utilise.
