Feasibility Studies
A successful construction project begins long before design drawings are produced. Our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Feasibility Studies provide the critical foundation needed to move confidently into design development. By evaluating options early, identifying constraints, and establishing realistic performance and cost expectations, we help clients make informed decisions that shape the entire project lifecycle.
Our team assesses existing building conditions, analyzes infrastructure capacity, reviews applicable regulations, and explores system strategies tailored to the project’s goals. Whether the focus is energy efficiency, resiliency, sustainability, future expansion, or operational flexibility, we deliver clear and actionable recommendations.
A well-executed feasibility study reduces risk, supports accurate budgeting, and ensures that the selected M&E solutions align with both short-term project needs and long-term operational objectives. With a solid technical foundation in place, your project is positioned for a smoother design process, greater cost certainty, and a more reliable outcome.

Design Audits
Design audits and peer reviews play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects progress with clarity, confidence, and cost certainty. Our team provides objective, comprehensive evaluations of mechanical and electrical design documents at key project milestones to verify technical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project goals.
Through detailed analysis of system layouts, equipment selections, coordination across disciplines, and adherence to codes and standards, we identify potential issues early - before they impact budget, schedule, or constructability. This proactive approach helps reduce risk, minimise redesign, and prevent costly changes during construction.
Engaging our team for design audits during the design process delivers valuable assurance that your project is progressing on the right path. By validating design choices and offering targeted recommendations, we help maintain cost control, support informed decision-making, and ultimately contribute to a more predictable and successful project outcome.

Failure Analysis & Investigation
When mechanical or electrical building systems fail, the impact can be costly, disruptive, and sometimes hazardous. Our Failure Analysis and Investigation services are designed to identify the root cause of system malfunctions, design and operational issues.
We bring deep technical expertise across HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, lighting, fire protection, and control systems.
We conduct detailed site inspections, review system documentation, analyse equipment performance and operational data, and interview key stakeholders to develop a clear, evidence based understanding of the failure.
Our investigations result in concise, actionable reports that outline findings, contributing factors, and recommended corrective actions. Whether the issue stems from design deficiencies, installation errors, equipment defects, maintenance practices, or unforeseen operating conditions, we provide the insight needed to support repairs, mitigate risk, and restore system reliability.
With a focus on accuracy, clarity, and practical solutions, our failure analysis services help protect your investment, enhance safety, and ensure the long-term performance of your building systems.
Our Expertise
We provide a Building Services Engineering Consultancy service which specialises in assisting end user clients and contractors.

We have a wealth of experience providing building services solutions for new and existing buildings for over thirty years in education, research, leisure, data centres and commercial office projects.

Our focus includes feasibility studies, pre-tender (RIBA Stage 3&4) design audits, and thorough investigations into MEP system failures, ensuring our clients receive the utmost quality in service.

We no longer offer a full MEP design service, this allows us to focus on areas where our experience adds the greatest value, particularly in independent technical assurance, risk reduction, and problem resolution.
Operating outside of full design delivery also allows us to provide independent, conflict-free technical reviews where required.
